Constituency Profile

Map of CECongleton Constituency covers a large mainly rural area in Cheshire.  It is part of the Cheshire East unitary authority.  The constituency includes five towns – Alsager, Holmes Chapel, Middlewich, Sandbach and Congleton Town itself – and numerous rural parishes.  Unfortunately the constituency has a long history of returning Conservative MPs to Westminster.  However the tide is turning.  Party membership is growing and at the last local elections we elected our first Cheshire East councillor, Sam Corcoran of Sandbach, as well as ten town and parish councillors.

We hold monthly all members meetings at the Market Tavern in Sandbach.  The meetings are on the first Monday of each month, August excepted, and start at 7:30pm.
